Voting in the 2023 Local Government Elections

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINARY ELECTION 21 OCTOBER 2023
Early Voting - in accordance with section 4.68 (1) (b) of the Local Government Act 1995, and regulation 59 of the Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997, early voting will open on Monday 2nd of October 2023 and close at 4pm on Friday 20th of October 2023.
Postal Voting – applications for postal voting open on Monday 2nd of October 2023 and close on Tuesday 17th of October 2023. Any person wishing to make an application for a postal vote can contact the Returning Officer at the details listed below.
Absent Voting – in accordance with 4.68 (1) (c) of the Local Government Act 1995, absent voting opens on Monday 2nd of October 2023 and closes on Tuesday 17th of October 2023. Any person wishing to cast an absent vote must do so before this date.
In person voting - a vote in person on election day being Saturday the 21st of October 2023 may be cast between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
