Welcome to Meekatharra! 

We are a small town about 760 kilometers north of Perth, in the Mid-West region of WA. Our town is located on the Great Northern Highway and is a busy hub for supplies, government, emergency, and medical services, cattle stations, remote indigenous communities, mining, prospecting, and tourism. You will soon find that there is more to Meeka than meets the eye!

We are a vibrant, friendly, and active community of people from many places and all walks of life. It is easy to make friends here, and if you need anything, all you have to do is ask around. There are several clubs, volunteer and special interest groups, after-work activities & events most days of the week, and many recreational resources.
