Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates 2024-25

In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Meekatharra gives notice of the intention to impose differential rates on rateable property in the Shire of Meekatharra in the 2024-2025 financial year.
Details of the proposed differential rates are as follows –

The cents in the dollar ($) shown above are estimates and may be changed as part of Council’s deliberations on any submissions received.
All statutory entitlements in relation to the levying and payment of rates for pensioners and other concession holders will apply.
The objects of, and reasons for, each proposed rate and minimum payment may be inspected at any time on the Shire’s website at www.meekashire.wa.gov.au or at the Shire of Meekatharra Administration Office, 75 Main Street, Meekatharra during office hours.
The Shire invites submissions in relation to the proposed differential rates, which are to be clearly marked Submission on Differential Rates 2024-2025, which can be posted to –
