LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINARY ELECTION 21 OCTOBER 2023

DRAWING OF LOTS ON THE BALLOT PAPER

In accordance with section 4.56 (a) of the Local Government Act 1995, and regulation 30 (1) of the Local Government (Elections) Regulations 1997, at the close of nominations 4.00pm Thursday 7th September 2023 there being more candidates received than vacancies, a drawing of lots for positions on the ballot paper will be conducted.

This will occur in the Council Chambers at Shire of Meekatharra, cnr of Main and Savage Streets, Meekatharra on Friday the 8th September 2023 at 4.30pm. All members of the public and candidates are welcome to witness the drawing of lots for positions on ballot paper.
